The Intelligent Computational imaging Lab (ICL) is rooted in computational imaging, where mathematically rigorous yet efficient optimization grounds every image in the physics of how it was measured. We carry that grounding into multimodal, multiscale representations and foundation models, designing algorithms that scale without giving up rigor. We close the loop with agents that act in the physical world and team with people, treating every input, measurement and human guidance alike, as valuable yet uncertain.

ICL is at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Seoul National University and is led by Se Young Chun. ICL is also affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Program in Artificial Intelligence, Seoul National University.
